Method
Soak the rice in water for 5-6 hours. Grind together the soaked rice, grated coconut and salt to a fine thin paste of dropping consistency.
Heat a griddle and season it by smearing a few drops of cooking oil evenly over it. Take a large spoonful of the batter and smear into thin pancakes. Pour a teaspoon of oil around the pancake/dosa, cover and cook for 1-2 minutes or till light brown in colour and then turn up side down. Cover and cook till done.
