Chawal ki Roti (Rice Flour Roti)
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice flour
  • 8 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Green chilli
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 3 tablespoons Yogurt
  • Oil (for frying)
  • Salt (As per taste)
Method
Grind the ginger, garlic and chilli to a smooth paste. Mix the salt, ginger paste and 2 tbsps oil or ghee with rice flour. Add yogurt and make a stiff dough. Do not knead. Mix gently with fingers till a dough is formed.

Divide into 6 portions. Roll them out to a round disc of 3 inch diameter and 1/4 inch thickness. Heat a griddle, shallow fry the rotis carefully one at a time, over low heat. Cook until both the sides turn light brown in colour.

Serves : 2 Time : 20 mins.
