Method
Grind together the cumin seeds, cardamoms, ajwain and red chillies and set aside.
Clean the fish and remove the skin. Rub the fish pieces with lime juice. Place in a bowl, add turmeric powder, amchoor, black salt, and rub the pieces well with the ground ingredients. Set it aside for 20 minutes to marinate.
Separately combine egg and flour with the edible food colouring and apply all over the fish.
Fry a few pieces at a time until golden brown. Squeeze lime on hot fried fish to enhance the flavour.
