Makki di Roti
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Maize flour
  • 1 cup Refined flour
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Method
Mix maize flour, oil and salt. Knead into a soft pliable dough, adding very little water at a time.
Shape into small balls, flatten and pat with palm or use a rolling pin, to make a thin roti. Dust with plain flour to avoid sticking. Place on a hot griddle and roast till light brown blisters appear on each side.
Repeat for all rotis. Dab with ghee or butter before serving. Goes best with sarson ka saag.
Serves : 2 Time : 15 mins.
