Chattambade (Chana Dal Vada)
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Bengal gram dal
  • 1/2 cup Toovar dal
  • 1/2 cup Urad dal
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chopped ginger
  • 3-4 Green chillies
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 4-5 Curry leaves
  • 6-7 tablespoons Oil
  • Salt (As per taste)
Method
Wash and soak the dals for 2 hours. Grind to a coarse paste. Mix in all the remaining ingredients. Take a little bit of the mixture, shape into balls. Slightly flatten them and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown in colour.

Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.

Serves : 5 Time : 30 mins.
