Where Blue Meets Infinity
Pangong Tso, one of the world's highest saltwater lakes, stretches like a ribbon of sapphire across the Indo-Tibetan plateau. Its waters display an ethereal range of blues - from turquoise to azure to deep indigo - changing with the sun's position.
The lake became globally famous after the Bollywood film "3 Idiots," but its raw, untouched beauty has drawn travelers and seekers for centuries. The stark landscape, devoid of vegetation, creates an otherworldly atmosphere.
Reaching Pangong requires crossing the challenging Chang La pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. The journey itself is an adventure through lunar landscapes and ancient Buddhist villages.
